But instead of fierce, we're served a bizarre mashup of commercialized holidays, pageantry, passive spectatorship, and pop-culture fluff.
Dolly inside a sunflower? -- adoreable but upsurd.
Easter eggs, skeletons, birthday wishes? All distractions!
The whole piece becomes a mock commercial break, where every image is a spoon-fed version of life- from cute to creepy, from diamonds to gore--all wrapped in a saccharine smile.
It's a visual satire of how television and media
"Train" us with contradictions-- telling us to be bold while offering scripts filled with cliche, conformity or nonsense.
