This painting is my rendition of the 1857 classic painting " The Gleaners" by Jean Francois Millet which sits in a Paris museum . Jean was part of the Realism Art movement. I found a black and white tattered copy in the basement of my 130 year old home when we purchased it several years ago and decided to put some color to it!
