Inspired by scripture Isaiah 41:18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
Painted in Plein air and refined in the studio, this piece focuses on the movement of water under the natural archway. The flowing brushwork mirrors the rhythm of the landscape--fluid, layered and constantly shifting.
